So, today is a special post, because if you were to start one good habit to keep for life, this would be the one I would recommend! Every single morning without fail, this is how I start my day; fresh veggie & fruit juice.

Why? The nutrients are absorbed quickly and efficiently. Not to mention the nutrient intake is largely increased – you would never sit down to chew on that many veggies in one sitting!

Just like the consistency of exercise, daily green vegetable juices are life changers in your quest for optimal health.

Green juices are rich in vitamins, minerals, enzymes and amino acid to nourish our insides.

The question is, are you willing to create a good habit your body (your machine) will not only love you for, but carry you through your day more efficiently?

Go on, I know you want to. It’s yummy, trust me! Just remember the first time you did a hard workout; you were unsure – new things can be daunting – but the more you did it, the more you loved it.

| Tips |

-If you don’t have enough time in the morning, make the green drink the night before, cover the container opening with glad wrap, store in the fridge and drink the next morning! If it appears thicker, just add a dash of water and stir 😉
-Adjust your juice to your flavours and I’m sure you’ll be hooked after 7 days straight if you weren’t after the first day!!

| Bircher Muesli |

This is a yummy, nutritious breakfast meal that can last you all week. Just set aside some time to make it and you’re good to go for however long it lasts you!

Note: As with all recipes, you can tweak it however you want to suit your tastes and dietary requirements.

| Benefits of Bircher Muesli |

– The oats stay in your stomach longer, so it makes you feel full longer. You will have less hunger and cravings.
– Provides high levels of fibre, low levels of fat, and high levels of protein.

| Ingredients |

3 cups rolled oats
1 cup yoghurt (I use jalna – either fat free natural or low fat vanilla)
500ml milk (use milk with the latest expiry date so it lasts longer)
300ml apple juice
1 cup of blueberries
1/3 cup dried cranberries
1 Tablespoon of dried pineapple

| What To Do |

Simply put all the ingredients together in a large bowl, mix them together nicely, place glad wrap over the bowl then pop it in the fridge. When breakfast rolls around just scoop out the desired amount and you’re ready to eat!

Want more on your breakfast? Top with a bit of extra yogurt, your fave berries, sprinkle of crushed walnuts on top and you’re right to go. Bon appetite!

Hello! Today we have a post for you about how to make healthy pancakes. It’s simple, easy, and quick. Enjoy!

| Ingredients |

2 tablespoons of Wholemeal Self-Raising Flour
1 Ripe Banana
2 Eggs

| What To Do |

Whisk the 3 ingredients and cook in a non stick pan (no butter or oil needed). Top the pancakes with the topping of your choosing. We used natural yoghurt and strawberries.
